Faith IS Meat For Christians
Emotions do not move God but your faith in his word does. When we allow emotions to replace faith it only opens the doors to fear, doubt and failure. Faith is meat for Christians while fear and doubt brings misery and turns strong stable Christians into mere shadow-boxers! Faith finds it's true owners in the midst of trials, for anyone can seemly have ownership of faith in the good times. God wants you to know that he would never start you on a journey that he could not complete. You may question God when you don't know what to do or where to turn but question him in faith and he will show you great and mighty things.

Eye-opening Lessons from a blind man

This past Wednesday March 21 I ministered from Mark 10:46-52. I have listed the main points below and I hope as you review them that God will speak to your heart also. I. We must assume responsibility for our own (life) or moment in time. (Mark 10:47)      A. Bartimaeus refused to surrender the responsibility of the outcome of his life to others II. Believe that you can change and become what God wants you to be in this life (Mark 10:51)      A. Bartimaeus said to the Lord "I want to See".      B. People will try to force you into a mold of their own choosing, if Bartimaeus would have allowed the                                people around him to do this then he would have never received his miracle. He believed change in his situation was possible, and so must you! III. Stop worrying about what people think or say about you! (Mark 10:48)   ...
What the cross will not allow a Christian to do This past Wednesday, March 7, 2012 I ministered to our church on the subject "what the cross won't allow a Christian to do". I will list the Power Points again for your reflection and study in order for you to draw fully from the message that was poured into your spirit. Power Point One - The cross will not allow a Christian to live " INDEPENDENT ". 1 Corinthians 12:25 (MSG) 25 The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don't, Power Point Two - The cross will not allow a Christian to live " SILENT " Acts 4:18-20 (MSG) 18 They called them back and warned them that they were on no account ever again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John spoke right back, "Whether it's right in God's eyes to listen to you rather than to God,...

It's Time To "Sober Up"!

Unfortunately a sizable portion of the church today has become drunk on its own definition of success. How often does God need to remind his people not to judge true success on the basis of whether something works or it seems not to. Paul and Silas did not appear to be successful when they were put in a Philippian jail, Peter did not appear to be successful when chained between prison guards, the gathering at Lazarus tomb did not have the aura of success and Jesus death on Calvary's cross appeared to be a total failure. However all these situations ended in great victory despite what it looked like on the outside.  When man in his own power and might puts together great programs and buildings in the church world, God reminds us that their success is not always indicative that his presence is in their midst. Remember it was Jesus himself who said in Matthew 10:34 that he came to send a sword and not peace to the earth. What did he mean? I believe Jesus ...
