Some time back I was praying to God about opening my ability to see God's visions for my life more clearly. I told the Lord that many times when I see spiritual visions in my mind, they always seem to be as though I am observing from a great distance. Have you ever felt like you were close but not close enough for it to make a difference? It is kind of like attending a pro baseball game and having to sit in the cheap seats. you can still see the game, you can hear the announcer over the speaker system, but you are not able to see the expressions on the players faces. From your vantage point you could not tell if the pitcher threw a curve ball, a slider or an off speed pitch unless you heard if from the announcer. So today why don't we begin to ask the Lord to spiritually move us out of the cheap seats to the expensive ones so that we might be first hand observers and participators in the spiritual game of life in order to get the most enjoyment and pleasure from serving his purpose. His word commands us to "draw nigh or close to him". It also reminds us of this in Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV) 6 and
raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly
places in Christ Jesus. Child of God you were destined for first class seats so get out of the cheap seats and take your rightful place in God's kingdom.
This past Wednesday March 21 I ministered from Mark 10:46-52. I have listed the main points below and I hope as you review them that God will speak to your heart also. I. We must assume responsibility for our own (life) or moment in time. (Mark 10:47) A. Bartimaeus refused to surrender the responsibility of the outcome of his life to others II. Believe that you can change and become what God wants you to be in this life (Mark 10:51) A. Bartimaeus said to the Lord "I want to See". B. People will try to force you into a mold of their own choosing, if Bartimaeus would have allowed the people around him to do this then he would have never received his miracle. He believed change in his situation was possible, and so must you! III. Stop worrying about what people think or say about you! (Mark 10:48) ...
